My name is Jana Szabo, and I am a Country Healer. In the day I designed and handcrafted a 60+ product line called A Sensual Blend, which I marketed to Spas and Hotels in the greater Seattle Area and to various spas throughout the states. My business started and continued to be seen at the wonderful Pike Place Market in Seattle, where people from all over the world journey come, see, and purchase unique handcrafted gifts to take home with them.
My initial reason for creating my own line of wholesome organic spa products came from my dismay in the lack of integrity in spa product design development and marketing, where you are told the product is organic and natural yet it is formulated with a plethora of chemicals.
Truth be told, I was a Product Horse. Yes, I bought all of them. Finding so many ingredients that irritated my skin ~ fooled to purchase ~ I started my research, and that was in the 70’s. As a result, my mission, I began my studies in Aromatherapy and Healing Plant Medicine and was off to create a healing spa product line, which meant that the products would not harm, but they would help.
Today, I am known as an Internationally Certified Aromatherapist, and Reiki Master Teacher, and Sound Healing Practitioner. My healing nature has guided me to work with healing plants and healing practices. Thank you for joining me here, and I look forward to connecting with you.
Hi Jana,
I enjoyed your post. I want to say, good for you and congratulations on your success! I think it’s great you remained true and with integrity in the design of your spa products as in the development and marketing. It doesn’t surprise me one’s skin would appear irritated after using a product that claims to contain natural ingredients. There are so many products out there claiming to be organic or natural, but still contain some amount of chemicals.
Thanks for sharing this post.
Thank you so much for your comment Rosa ~ thank you for your positive feedback, and your comments. I began making products just for the reason you mentioned at the end of your comment. So true. I love creating products that help and cause healing.
